Beauty and the Beastly Earl (A Fairytale Retelling #2)
Super quick read. Clean retelling of the story.Lady Jane knew not to count on her looks to land a husband, without a dowry she knew she would have little to no luck finding one. When she is summoned back to London by her sick mother, she knew she had to go. When a proposition of marriage is received from an Earl she has never met she agrees to meet him and at least get to know the man who wants to marry her. Lord Edward had no need for a wife and is only seeking one because of a clause in his father's will. Adamant that his marriage is in
So many typos and missing words. Really abrupt ending that leaves half the plot unresolved.

Cute, sweet, short story.
I adore tales, legends and myths, but I have always been very careful about retelling and various adaptations. It is a huge responsibility to work with classic plots and timeless themes. It is necessary to have a huge talent and imagination in order to create a not banal, original and interesting plot. I am very grateful to my friend. She was the one who advised Regina Jamess books to me. This is the second book of this author, which I enjoyed even more than the first. This is a wonderful,
Good read that keeps your attention. She has no dowry so is resigned to no one. All of a sudden her mother has her come where she is. An earl offers for her but not out of love. It is exciting, suspenseful, intriguing and so much more. They find a really bumpy road. I received a review copy and voluntarily review it.

Without a dowry, Lady Jane knew not to count on her looks to land her a husband. When her mother summons her back to London and she receives a proposition from an Earl she’s never met, she wonders what sort of man would send someone to propose on his behalf? What sort of man would marry a woman he’s never met before? With little options, she agrees she will at least meet the Earl, but nothing could prepare her for the surprise in store for her… Lord Edward had no need for a wife and is only searching for a one because of the ridiculous clause his father left in his will. Adamant that his marriage would be in name only, he sends his best friend to find him the most unmarriageable woman in all of London. Certainly the beauty his friend brings to his country estate could not fit this description. Edward must get rid of her and fast…before he falls in love with a beauty who could never return the affections of a beastly earl.Define Books Supposing Beauty and the Beastly Earl (A Fairytale Retelling #2)

I received a copy of this for my honest review. The first chapter started slightly rough for me, the main character Jane was referred to as Anne and there were some slight grammatical errors. Once I got past that, I found the story very engaging. I had not read the first book but the story had enough background information regarding other characters it was easy to follow along. The story was very sweet and clean, so other than references to the main characters kissing there was no other physicalSuper quick read.
