Representaion Supposing Books Taking Shots (Nashville Assassins #1)
Elli Fisher has never thought she was good enough, let it be her job, her weight, her love life, nothing. That is until she meets Shea Adler. After doing a promotional shoot for the NHL team, the Assassins, she meets the hunky hockey player who shoots a puck, shattering her world. Shea Adler was tired of the life he was living outside of the rink. The girls, the money blowing, the drinking, everything had to stop and it all did when he met Eleanor Fisher. He had never met anyone like her. She was feisty, witty, shy, and simply gorgeous. When he laid eyes on her, it was as if he was taking the hardest hit of his life into the boards, and he had to have her. Elli is a little skeptical of Shea, but he knows that they were meant to be together, and he needed her in his life. Can Elli throw her insecurities out the window and love Shea with everything inside of her, or will she let a past relationship, and her family ruin any chance of her being happy.

Elli is a 27 year old photographer and a huge hockey fan. The Assassin's are her favorite team. She goes to every single home game. Elli is self sufficient, even though her family is wealthy. She has been single for the last 6 years and overall, she is happy with her life. Elli and her assistant/bff Harper get a job taking some photos for the Assassins. There she meets her favorite hockey player. Shea Adler.Oh Shea... Shea is the captain of the Assassins. He used to be a playboy, but he is⭐2 stars⭐ Whoever thought up the phrase 'Absence makes the heart grow fonder' was an idiot.Absence makes a bitch go crazy. I nearly DNF at least 3 times.. And I almost never do that.I skimmed though. A lot. I just can't enjoy a book if I don't like the characters and I really really didn't like Elli. Plus it was such a long book and got really boring at times.Normally I wouldn't read the other books but I heard really good things about the series so I think I'll give the next couple books a

4,5 Hockey Stars Elli is a photographer and a huge (and I mean HUGE) hockey fan. Her favorite team is the Assassins and her favorite player is Shea Adler. One day she meets him in a photo shoot and he is as much attracted to Elli as she is to him, and yes, you know where this is going. But dating a hockey player isnt quite easy: the timetables, the easy girls, the away games and the distance they involve But worse than that? Ellis ghost from the past, her fears and insecurities that doesnt let

You can find this and other reviews on my blog: Dreaming In The Pages------------------------------------------------------I have been very fortunate lately when it comes to book recommendations and Taking Shots is no exception. Not knowing exactly what to expect when I stared, I was blown away by just about everything I read. It has been FOREVER since I read a contemporary romance that was so emotionally packed and had enough sexy action to keep those pages turning well past my bedtime. This
★★☆☆☆The book was too long. 500 pages long for a very short and simple story. Add to that the fact that there was too much drama to enjoy, and you have (surprise) two stars. And, i don't really care that it wasn't a very original story. At this point there aren't that many ideas left. That's OK. But , put some thought into it. Characters. They needed a bit more thought put into them, but i can get over that. ||All in all could've been better||
