There is no way I can review this book by outlining any of the plot or themes, otherwise I will totally ruin it for you. This review is deliberately short because of two reasons. Firstly I'm not certain I have the words to do it justice and secondly I don't want to spoil it for others. You can always rely on a Cat Clarke novel to rip you to shreds emotionally. This was no exception. It's gritty and hard hitting throughout. The story itself is one of those where you just know from the outset that it isn't going to end well for the characters involved. The situations they find themselves in are impossible and you



Alex and Kate met online.He is everything she wants in a boyfriend and she is everything he wants in a girlfriend.But one of them has a secret that could ruin their relationship. Well, I saw the big twist coming. It was more or less what I had expected. However, what I hadn't expected was to be hooked. The book is divided in two parts, before and after. The before, where we meet Alex and Kate and one of them still don't know about the secret was my favorite. I'm pretty sure I read it in like,
