The Sky is Falling
The Sky is Falling! This was my second book by Sidney Sheldon. The plot is about a murder mystery and it is described in a fascinating manner. Well, I should not ruin the Reader's interest by describing the story here itself, right? It's a suspense story which will not allow you to put the book down. Now, it's obvious that whenever you read anything , you get to learn something. From this book, I literally loved the character of Dana Evans(the leading character). Despite having many troubles, She

Wilson. Wilson. Wilson. How many times have I called that name. I need to start binding you. And I don't even care how wrong that sounds, you're Nigerian so you know EXACTLY what I mean. Strongarming me upandan...Right, so, the book. Man, this was very easy to read. Like murder she wrote, it was "waayy too easy". It was simple. It was even simplistic (is this a word, it's not in my phone's keyboard's dictionary). So simplistic as to even be outright childish. Like, seriously, Chicken Little??
What do I say w/o sounding like the critics or the back of the book cover? I loved how he picked this title; from dialogue. The main character runs into her bosses office and he says you come running in here like Chicken Little screaming "The sky is falling, the sky is falling." I love that. But, this is really signature Sidney Sheldon. Once you begin reading, just buckle in and keep turning the pages. Once I reached like chapter 9 I had a difficult time putting it down. So much so, that I
This was Sheldons second to last novel published before his death. The usual style is there: strong, determined heroine, a hidden agenda/conspiracy, worldwide travel to exotic cities. But for some reason, even though the pacing was written in Sheldons rapid-fire style, it seemed to take a while for things to wrap up. Not his best, but not his worst. Only so-so for me.
The novel provides the thrill of watching a suspense movie. From the beginning to end it tightens the grip of suspense on readers. The storyline is perfect and provides the reading pleasure.

Commentary Conducive To Books The Sky is Falling
Washington TV anchorwoman Dana Evans (from Best Laid Plans) suspects the accidents befalling the rich Winthrop family, killing all five members, were murders. Like Chicken Little and the sky falling, she chases clues across the world to unravel an international conspiracy. The inheritance goes to charity, so money is not the motive. Her Sarajevo ward Kemal gets expelled, a prosthetic arm, then often naps afternoons under care of kindly new housekeeper. Unseen agents follow her, bug hotel rooms, while an evil mastermind voice overhears taped conversations and supervises regular secret auctions, inviting armed wealthy customers. Witnesses and informants die before, and after meetings. Friends become foes, nobody can be trusted.Identify Based On Books The Sky is Falling
